【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthreemethodsforthedeterminationofthevoidcontentoftextileglassreinforcedplasticsorcomposites,ofwhichtheconstituentsareofasolidnature.1MethodA-LossonignitionThismethodisapplicabletocompositesforwhichtheeffectsofthelossonignitiontestonthematerialsareknown.Mostmatrixresinsandtextileglassfibrereinforcementsfallintothisclass.Themethodisnotapplicabletocompositesforwhichtheef-fectsofthelossonignitiontestontheresin,thereinforcement,andanyfillersareunknown.Thismayincludesiliconeresins,whichdonotburnoffcompletely,andfillersconsistingofox-ides,carbonates,etc.,whichmaygainorloseweight.Notethatseparateweightlosstestsonindividualmaterialswillusually,butnotnecessarily,givethesameresultaswhenallthematerialsarecombined.Theaccuracyofthemethodis±2,5%byvolume.2MethodB-MechanicaldisintegrationThismethodisapplicableifthecompositecanbedisintegratedinsuchaway,forexamplebycrushinginapress,thatalltheenclosedvoidsareconnectedwiththeoutsideofthecom-positematerial.Themethodisdestructiveandhaslimitedap-plicationifthematrixmaterialshowsductilebehaviourundercompression,unlessitcanbemademorebrittleinanartificialway(forexamplebycooling).Themethodisespeciallysuitablewhenthedensitiesofthecon-stituentmaterialsarenotknownornotdeterminable.Themethodneglectstheinfluenceofanyvolatileconstituentsthatcouldevaporateduringandafterdisintegration.Inthisconnection,theconditioningshallbechosenwithcare.Themethodalsodoesnottakeintoaccountanycutorexposedvoidsatthesurfaceofthesample.Theaccuracyofthemethodis±1%byvolume.3MethodC-StatisticalcountingThismethodisapplicabletocompositeshavingavoidcontentlessthanorequalto1%byvolume.
