This MIL-STD-40051 series establishes the technical content requirements and mandatorystyle and format requirements for the preparation of page-based and frame-based technicalmanuals (TMs) and subsequent revisions required to support the various types of equipment andweapon systems within the Department of the Army. The requirements contained in thisstandard cover operation and maintenance at all levels through overhaul (depot), including DepotMaintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs) and National Maintenance Work Requirements(NMWRs).
