【摘要】:ISO21127:2006establishesguidelinesfortheexchangeofinformationbetweenculturalheritageinstitutions.Insimpletermsthiscanbedefinedasthecuratedknowledgeofmuseums.Amoredetaileddefinitioncanbearticulatedbydefiningboththeintendedscope,abroadandmaximallyinclusivedefinitionofgeneralprinciples,andthepracticalscope,whichisdefinedbyreferencetoasetofspecificmuseumdocumentationstandardsandpractices.TheintendedscopeofISO21127:2006isdefinedastheexchangeandintegrationofheterogeneousscientificdocumentationrelatingtomuseumcollections.Thisdefinitionrequiresfurtherelaboration:Theterm"scientificdocumentation"isintendedtoconveytherequirementthatthedepthandqualityofdescriptiveinformationthatcanbehandledbyISO21127:2006needbesufficientforseriousacademicresearch.Thisdoesnotmeanthatinformationintendedforpresentationtomembersofthegeneralpublicisexcluded,butratherthatISO21127:2006isintendedtoprovidethelevelofdetailandprecisionexpectedandrequiredbymuseumprofessionalsandresearchersinthefield.Theterm"museumcollections"isintendedtocoveralltypesofmaterialcollectedanddisplayedbymuseumsandrelatedinstitutions,asdefinedbyICOM.Thisincludescollections,sites,andmonumentsrelatingtofieldssuchassocialhistory,ethnography,archaeology,fineandappliedarts,naturalhistory,historyofsciencesandtechnology.Thedocumentationofcollectionsincludesthedetaileddescriptionofindividualitemswithincollections,groupsofitemsandcollectionsasawhole.ISO21127:2006isspecificallyintendedtocovercontextualinformation(i.e.thehistorical,geographical,andtheoreticalbackgroundthatgivesmuseumcollectionsmuchoftheirculturalsignificanceandvalue).Theexchangeofrelevantinformationwithlibrariesandarchives,andharmonizationwiththeirmodels,fallswithintheintendedscopeofISO21127:2006.Informationrequiredsolelyfortheadministrationandmanagementofculturalinstitutions,suchasinformationrelatingtopersonnel,accounting,andvisitorstatistics,fallsoutsidetheintendedscopeofISO21127:2006.ThepracticalscopeofISO21127:2006isthesetofreferencestandardsformuseumdocumentationthathavebeenusedtoguideandvalidateitsdevelopment.ISO21127:2006coversthesamedomainofdiscourseastheunionofthesereferencedocuments;thismeansthatdatacorrectlyencodedaccordingtoanyofthesereferencedocumentscanbeexpressedinacompatibleform,withoutanylossofmeaning.
