【摘要】:TheradialcrushingstrengthtestisadestructiveprocedureusedtodetermineamaterialstrengthcharacteristicofPMbearingsandhollowcylindricaltestspecimens.Thesedatacanbeusedtograde,classify,andevaluatethematerials.ThePMbearingSpecificationsB438andB439requiretheuseofthistestmethodasanacceptancetestforthestrengthofoil-impregnatedsinteredbearings.Thistestmethodmaybeusedbypowderproducersandpartsmanufacturersasalotacceptancetestformetalpowdersandlubricatedpowdermixturesintendedfortheproductionofporousparts.CompaniesinthePMindustryusethistestasamanufacturingcontroltestbecauseitisappropriateforproductionpractices.RadialcrushingstrengthisapropertyofthePMmaterialbutisnotadesignvalue.However,experiencehasshownthattheradialcrushingstrengthofamaterialisapproximatelytwicetheultimatetensilestrength.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheequipmentandlaboratoryprocedureforthedeterminationoftheradialcrushingstrengthofmaterialsusingeitheraplainpowdermetallurgy(PM)bearingorathin-walledhollowcylindricaltestspecimen.Thisisadestructivetestthatproducesquantitativeresults.1.2Limitations:1.2.1Theprincipleofthisprocedureisbasedonthematerialbeingtestedhavingminimalductility.Thepermanentdeflectionofthecylinderduringthetestshouldnotexceed10%oftheoutsidediameter.1.2.2Theradialcrushingstrengthtestresultsshouldbeusedonlyasaguideifthetestspecimenhasawallthicknessthatisgreaterthanone-thirdoftheoutsidediameter.Thesetestresultsshouldthenonlybeusedforcomparisonwithdatafromthetestspecimensoflikematerialsandsimilardimensions.1.3Withtheexceptionofdensityvalues,forwhichtheg/cm3unitistheindustrystandard,thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretobeconsideredthestandard.ThevaluesinSIunits,showninparenthesishavebeenconvertedinaccordancewithIEEE/ASTMStandardSI10,maybeapproximateandareonlyincludedforinformation.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartoftheEuropeanStandardEN71specifiesrequirementsforthemaximumamountofcertainsubstancesandpreparationsusedinexperimentalsetsforchemistryandrelatedactivities.ThesesubstancesandpreparationsarechemicalsclassifiedasdangerousbytheDirectivesondangeroussubstances[1]anddangerouspreparations[2](includingsubstanceswhichhavebeenself-classifiedaccordingtotherequirementsoftheseDirectives),--substancesandpreparationswhichinexcessiveamountsmayharmthehealthofthechildrenusingthembutwhicharenotclassifiedasdangerousbytheabovementionedDirectivesand--anyotherchemicalsubstancesandpreparationsdeliveredwiththetoy.Thisstandardappliestochemistrysetsandsupplementarysets.Italsocoverstoysforexperimentswithinthefieldsofmineralogy,biology,physics,microscopyandenvironmentalsciencewhenevertheycontainoneormorechemicalsubstancesand/orpreparations.Italsospecifiesrequirementsformarking,contentslist,instructionsforuseandforequipmentintendedforcarryingouttheexperimentsOtherchemicaltoysarespecifiedinEN71-5.NOTETheterms"substance"and"preparation"asusedindirectives67/548/EEC[1]and1999/45/EC[2]arealsousedinthe"REACHRegulation'Regulation(EC)No1907/2006[4].ThisregulationrequiresthataccountbetakenoftheemerginginternationalstandardsintheregulationofchemicalssuchastheGloballyHarmonisedSystem(GHS)ofclassificationandlabellingofchemicals.TheEUhasnowproposedatimetablefortheintroductionofGHSanditisexpectedthatthetwoabovementioneddirectiveswillberepealedon1June2015.IntheGHSregulationtheterm'mixture'ratherthan'preparation'isused.Preparationsandmixturesshouldbeconsideredsynonymous;botharemixturesorsolutionsofsubstancesthatdonotreactwitheachother.
