【摘要】:HPandHTHPcorrosiontestsarecommonlyusedtoevaluatethecorrosionperformanceofmetallicmaterialsunderconditionsthatattempttosimulateserviceconditionsthatinvolveHPorHTHPincombinationwithserviceenvironments.ExamplesofserviceenvironmentswhereHPandHTHPcorrosiontestshavebeenutilizedincludechemicalprocessing,petroleumproductionandrefining,foodprocessing,pressurizedcoolingwater,electricpowersystemsandaerospacepropulsion.Fortheapplicationsofcorrosiontestinglistedin5.1,theserviceinvolveshandlingcorrosiveandpotentiallyhazardousmediaunderconditionsofhighpressureorhightemperature,orboth.Thetemperatureandpressureusuallyenterdirectlyintotheseverityofthecorrosionprocess.Consequently,thelaboratoryevaluationofcorrosionseveritycannotbeperformedinconventionallowpressureglasswarewithoutmakingpotentiallyinvalidassumptionsastothepotentialeffectsofhightemperatureandpressureoncorrosionseverity.Therefore,thereisasubstantialneedtoprovidestandardizedmethodsbywhichcorrosiontestingcanbeperformedunderHPandHTHP.Inmanycases,however,thestandardsusedforexposureofspecimensinconventionallowpressureglasswareexperimentscannotbefollowedduetothelimitationsofaccess,volumeandvisibilityarisingfromtheconstructionofhighpressuretestcells.ThisguidereferstoexistingcorrosionstandardsandpracticesasapplicableandthengoesfurtherinareaswherespecificguidelinesforperformingHPandHTHPcorrosiontestingareneeded.1.1Thisguidecoversprocedures,specimens,andequipmentforconductinglaboratorycorrosiontestsonmetallicmaterialsunderconditionsofhighpressure(HP)orthecombinationofhightemperatureandhighpressure(HTHP).Seefordefinitionsofhighpressureandtemperature.1.2TestsconductedunderHPorHTHPbytheirnaturehavespecialrequirements.Thisguideestablishesthebasicconsiderationsthatarenecessarywhentheseconditionsmustbeincorporatedintolaboratorycorrosiontests.1.3Theproceduresandmethodsinthisguideareapplicableforconductingmasslosscorrosion,localizedcorrosion,andelectrochemicaltestsaswellasforuseinenvironmentallyinducedcrackingteststhatneedtobeconductedunderHPorHTHPconditions.1.4Theprimarypurposeforthisguideistopromoteconsistencyofcorrosiontestresults.Furthermore,thisguidewillaidinthecomparisonofcorrosiondatabetweenlaboratoriesortestingorganizationsthatutilizedifferentequipment.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformaitononly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
